Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
